A patient books an appointment. The visit goes well. The doctor does everything right. Then nothing: no follow-up, no reminder, no next appointment, no relationship. Months later that same patient books somewhere else — often through a marketplace that charges the clinic to win back someone who was already theirs. We've seen this story hundreds of times.
Before we built Holty, we spent years building the systems behind hospitals. Holty is built by Codeventor, a European software engineering company based in Iași, Romania. While many healthcare platforms begin as software startups, our story began inside some of the most demanding digital environments imaginable — hospital ecosystems and national public-sector platforms, where software simply cannot afford to fail. When those systems stop working, real life stops with them.
Working inside hospitals taught us something surprising: the technology wasn't the biggest problem — disconnected systems were. Appointments in one application, records in another, identities in a third, payments in a fourth. So we built platforms that connected everything into one secure, synchronized ecosystem. Eventually we asked a simple question: why should only the largest hospitals have technology like this? Holty is our answer.
